Major Highlights of the Week

Widget Disappearance
Users are experiencing issues with widgets disappearing from the app, which affects their ability to access Notion features quickly. This unexpected removal of widgets is causing confusion and inconvenience.
My widgets have disappeared and the app isn’t in the list of available widgets either.
Image Resizing Issue
The app is automatically resizing imported images to smaller dimensions without allowing users to adjust them, which disrupts the visual layout of their notes and projects. This lack of control over image size is frustrating for users who rely on visual content.
Whenever I import photos, it makes them small and doesn’t let me resize them.
Database Scrolling Limitation
The latest update has restricted the ability to scroll through options in database properties, limiting users to only the top few selections. This change hinders efficient data management and selection within databases.
I can’t scroll through my options anymore if the one I’m looking for isn’t in the top 4.
Breadcrumb Navigation
The update has made it cumbersome to access breadcrumb navigation, requiring multiple clicks to view page hierarchies. This change complicates navigation and disrupts workflow efficiency.
AI Intrusion
The AI feature is intruding on users' workflow by making unsolicited suggestions, which some users find disruptive and unnecessary. There is a demand for an option to disable or hide AI suggestions.
I wish I could disable the option for AI as it intrudes when I'm writing tasks.
Offline Access Limitation
The app lacks offline access, preventing users from viewing and editing notes without an internet connection. This limitation is a significant inconvenience for users who need to access their content on the go.
It’s so inconvenient that I can only access notes online; there needs to be a feature for offline viewing.

Quotes of the week

Hear from some of the most impactful users to drive changes

Notion has become integral to organizing my personal life, my creative hobby, and my work. I use it every day. Hands down the most useful app I have ever used. I’ve tried several organization apps, note-taking apps, kanban boards… nothing comes close. I recommend Notion to people constantly.

I love this app, the layers to it really work well with my brain as well as referencing links and other pages; great for my DnD stuff! That being said, the website works way better than the app... I have so much trouble with even just basic functions in the app; randomly losing the ability to use the Enter key, in-app spell check just... not replacing the word, arranging tabs tables or lines is glitchy as heck.

I love this app and have been using it for 3 years. It’s amazing and it’s very organized! But, recently, whenever I import photos, it makes them small? It doesn’t let me resize it or anything, which is annoying.
