I have been using Barclaycard for years without issue. Now for the second time in a month I am forced to reset up the barclaycard app. I get an error code 00006 with a box in the background saying 'Jailbroken devices are not supported'. My phone isn’t jailbroken. When I then reopen the app it’s as if I have downloaded the app for the first time. Sort this out as if this happens again I won’t be keeping this card much longer.

The automated phone call method doesn’t seem to have worked either because I tried that a week ago and I have received no communications since. How difficult can it be to close an account?
