Major Highlights of the Week

Login Issues
Users experience difficulties logging into the app, making it unusable for them. This issue affects user engagement and retention, as they cannot access the app's features.
I couldn’t even login it was impossible for me to even use it.
High CPU Usage
The app causes high CPU and RAM usage after being idle for 30 minutes, leading to performance issues. This bug poses a risk during live performances, as it can cause the app to freeze.
There is this bug that causes high CPU and RAM usage only if you have not used the app for at least 30 minutes.
Playlist Management
Users find it challenging to remove songs from playlists due to the difficulty in locating the delete button. This impacts the user experience by complicating playlist management.
Just a little hard to remove songs from a playlist. Hard to find the delete button.
Android Feature Disparity
The Android version lacks features available on iOS, such as 4-deck mode and video mixing. This inconsistency affects user satisfaction and limits the app's functionality on Android devices.
Am using Djay pro on my android and the features are limited unlike for the iOS version where there are 4 deck features and sorts.
Subscription Confusion
Users are frustrated with the transition to a subscription model, especially those who previously purchased the app. This change has led to dissatisfaction and perceptions of unfair business practices.
I purchased the pro version of this app. The company forced an update and now wasn't me to pay a subscription for the features I already purchased.
Neural Mix Limitations
Neural Mix is not available for Android users, limiting their ability to isolate vocals and instrumentals. This feature gap reduces the app's appeal and functionality for Android users.
I wish the neural mixing would work for Android, this app would be the best if the vocal isolation feature was working here.

After using Rekordbox for several years as a professional private event DJ, I recently tried out DJay Pro at home and then at a gig and was really impressed with the software. Very versatile! It’s a little bit of a transition to mix and DJ with something new and using a controller that wasn’t automatically compatible, but I’m sure that with a compatible controller and strong Wi-Fi connection, most professional DJs could have a great performance using their own collection plus songs available through its various services, such as Apple Music. Impressive!

I used to love using this app before the 5.3.2 update. But there is this bug that causes high CPU and RAM usage only if you have not used the app for at least 30 minutes. Then the app would just get stuck in that high amount forever until you suspend the app or lock the iPhone while music is playing (to grab a drink or snack) and the OS terminates the app. This has been consistent on doing that on every use of the app. I do not think the devs notice the bug. I have also sent a bug report months ago. They might have forgotten about it. This becomes quite a big risk if you want to try using this app in live performances. It already happened once but that is because I have never knew about the bug yet after updating. So hopefully the bug fixes come eventually.

I’ll be honest… I bought the full paid subscription while under the effects of alcohol at a New Year’s party… and it didn’t disappoint… (dunno how much I paid for it) and it has been a lot of fun to use.. If I could change anything on it (this is for you developers) I would add: 1) Ability to utilize more sources of music (specially, and more specifically Amazon music, and probably others as well). 2) Ability to quickly jump back from the search to mixing without having to hit the back button a bunch of times… and… 3) If you could create a way to be able to preview the next track, without actually playing and/or interfering with the track being played … that way I, as the “DJ” have a better control of where I want the next track to start, without using the auto play (which is fantastic, but sometimes ends or starts the song at a different point that I’d had chosen) Grant us all these wishes, and you’ll become a far more greater application than you already are!!! Thank you for your time and consideration!
