Approximately 20% of users have expressed frustration with the app's interface changes.

The recent update made the interface cluttered and cumbersome, moving away from the intuitive experience it once was.

2

Quotes of the week

Hear from some of the most impactful users to drive changes

Recording ideas is tedious. A lack of piano roll and a chromatically laid out grid is rather unintuitive to play anything melodic on. Not only does Koala do this better, it has a very well organised sampler and audio editor that Ableton Note lacks.

I really enjoy using the Novation Launchkey mk4 for Ableton Live on desktop, its so easy to use the sequencer and switch from clips, But after buying this app I see that it is completely different. The sequencer and clips function doesn’t pop up on the launchkey for Ableton Note. Hopefully someone sees this so they can update it.

The learning curve is intuitive and logical. The GUI is so much more conducive to workflow compared to say garageband or gadget 3. I am into improvisation. Ableton Note makes improvisation seamless. Its a wide wide universe of sound and groove to explore.
